2. Eligibility and Responsibility for a Booking
A reservation must be made by a person aged 18 years or older who has legal capacity to enter into the booking.
The person making the reservation: is responsible for providing accurate booking information, is responsible for payment unless otherwise agreed, must have authority to make the reservation on behalf of any accompanying guests, and is responsible for ensuring that accompanying guests are aware of and comply with these Terms and applicable house and safety rules.
3. Reservations and Booking Confirmation
An enquiry, availability indication, quotation or provisional reservation does not by itself constitute a confirmed booking.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, a reservation becomes confirmed when:
We confirm availability and the applicable price and terms;
Any deposit or payment required by us has been received; and
We issue confirmation of the reservation by email, message, payment confirmation or another written form.
Your booking confirmation should be checked promptly, please contact us immediately if any information is incorrect. A booking confirmation, together with these Terms and any specifically agreed written conditions, forms the agreement relating to your reservation.
4. Rates, Taxes and Inclusions
The price applicable to your stay will be the price stated in your confirmed reservation.
Rates may vary according to: dates, room category, occupancy, number of guests, package, length of stay, activities or additional services and applicable taxes or statutory charges.
Prices displayed or quoted before a booking is confirmed may change without notice.
Once a reservation has been confirmed, we will not ordinarily change the agreed accommodation price except where:
The booking is subsequently amended
The number of guests or services changes
A quoted price contains an obvious error
Applicable taxes, statutory levies or government charges change, or
The change is otherwise permitted by applicable law.
The services included in your reservation are those specified in your booking confirmation. Unless otherwise stated in your confirmation, our standard accommodation offering may include accommodation and meals and may include certain property amenities. Chargeable activities, safari-related services, transfers, special food items and other additional services are not included unless specifically stated.
5. Payments
We may require full or partial payment in advance as a condition of confirming a reservation.
Payment may be made through methods made available by us, including a third-party payment gateway such as Razorpay. Payment processing may be subject to the terms and privacy practices of the relevant payment provider. We do not ask guests to send complete card details, CVVs, OTPs, banking passwords or similar payment credentials by email or messaging service.
A payment is treated as received once it has been successfully confirmed to us. If a payment is reversed, declined, charged back or otherwise not received, we may contact you to arrange alternative payment and, where payment remains outstanding, may cancel or suspend the reservation subject to applicable law.
6. Guest Cancellation Policy
Unless a different cancellation policy is expressly stated in your booking confirmation, the following policy applies to cancellation of a confirmed accommodation reservation.
Cancellation 30 days or more before arrival: A cancellation charge equal to 20% of the total confirmed booking value will apply. Any balance paid above the cancellation charge will be eligible for refund.
Cancellation 15 to 29 days before arrival: A cancellation charge equal to 50% of the total confirmed booking value will apply. Any balance paid above the cancellation charge will be eligible for refund.
Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival: A cancellation charge equal to 100% of the total confirmed booking value will apply. No accommodation refund will be due.
No-shows: No refund is available for a no-show.
Early departure: No refund is available for accommodation or services forming part of the confirmed booking that are unused because a guest checks out earlier than the confirmed departure date.
Reduction in number of guests: Once a reservation has been paid for, a reduction in the number of guests does not ordinarily entitle the guest to a refund. We may, at our discretion and subject to availability, agree to another modification in writing.
Third-party services: Safari permits, transport, guides and other third-party activities may have separate amendment and cancellation conditions imposed by the relevant provider or authority.
Any refund relating to such services will be subject to the amount actually recoverable from the relevant provider, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
7. Refund Processing
Where a refund is due under these Terms, we will ordinarily initiate the approved refund within 14 business days after the applicable cancellation or refund amount has been determined, and we have received any information reasonably necessary to process the refund.
After a refund has been initiated, the time taken for the amount to appear in your bank account, card or payment instrument may depend on your bank, card network or payment service provider.
Refunds will ordinarily be made to the original payment method unless another method is agreed or reasonably required.
8. Cancellation or Material Change by tigress@ghosri
In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel or materially change a confirmed reservation.
Circumstances within our reasonable control
If we cancel a confirmed accommodation reservation for reasons within our reasonable control and cannot provide a reasonably acceptable alternative agreed with you, we will refund amounts paid to us for the affected accommodation or services.
Where applicable consumer-protection law requires us to bear a cancellation charge or provide compensation comparable to a cancellation charge imposed upon the guest, we will comply with that requirement. This may include an amount equivalent to the applicable guest cancellation charge.
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Where a booking cannot be performed because of an event beyond our reasonable control, Section 17 below will apply. Nothing in this section limits any non-excludable right available to a consumer under applicable law.
9. Check-In and Check-Out
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Check-in: 1:00 PM
Check-out: 11:30 AM
Early check-in may be possible on request but is subject to availability.
Late check-out must be agreed with us in advance and may be subject to availability or additional charges.
10. Guest Information and Identification
Guests must provide accurate information reasonably requested for reservation, check-in, security or legal-compliance purposes. Government-issued identification may be required at check-in or before arrival.
Foreign nationals, including OCI cardholders where applicable, may be required to provide passport, visa, OCI and other information required for statutory accommodation reporting or immigration-related requirements.
A guest who is unable or unwilling to provide information or identification legally required for accommodation may be refused check-in where necessary to comply with law. Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
11. Wildlife Property and Safety
tigress@ghosri is a wildlife lodge situated on an unfenced forested property in the buffer landscape of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.
Wild animals may occur on or close to the property.
The natural and unfenced character of the property is part of the experience but requires guests to exercise appropriate caution.
Guests must strictly:
Follow staff safety instructions
Not venture onto open property grounds without staff accompaniment where accompaniment is required
Not approach, feed, disturb, pursue or attempt to interact with wild animals
Not intentionally place themselves or another person at risk for photography or wildlife viewing
Supervise children at all times and
Immediately inform staff of a potentially dangerous wildlife encounter or safety concern.
Wildlife is unpredictable. We cannot guarantee that particular animals will or will not be present at any particular time. Reasonable safety measures do not eliminate the inherent risks associated with being in a natural wildlife landscape.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Children
Children are welcome at tigress@ghosri but must remain under appropriate adult supervision.
In particular:
Children must not be left unattended on the property grounds
The swimming pool is unattended and children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times
Children must comply with staff instructions relating to wildlife and property safety and
Parents and guardians remain responsible for children in their care.
13. Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is unattended.
Guests use the pool responsibly and must take reasonable precautions appropriate to their swimming ability and circumstances. Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult.
Glassware, unsafe behaviour and conduct likely to endanger other guests or staff may be prohibited in or around the pool area.
14. Pets
Because tigress@ghosri is situated on an unfenced wildlife property, bringing pets is strongly discouraged and may expose the animal to serious risk.
Guests wishing to bring a pet must contact us before making or confirming the booking. Any agreement relating to a pet must be expressly confirmed by us in advance.
15. Safaris, Wildlife Sightings and Other Activities
Tadoba jungle safaris and access to protected-area tourism zones are subject to the rules, permits, availability and operational decisions of the relevant government and forest authorities.
Safari permits may need to be booked through the official government booking system or another authorised channel.
tigress@ghosri may assist guests with information, coordination or arrangements, but unless expressly stated otherwise:
Safari permits are issued or controlled by the relevant authority, not by tigress@ghosri
Availability is not guaranteed
Safari gates, zones, routes, vehicles, guides, timings and rules may be changed by the relevant authority
Activities may be affected by weather, seasonal closure, road conditions, government directions, wildlife management requirements or other circumstances
Third-party charges and cancellation terms may apply and
Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Statements on our website concerning wildlife commonly seen in Tadoba describe general experience and do not constitute a promise that a particular species or animal will be sighted during any guest's visit.
16. Third-Party Services
We may assist guests in arranging services supplied by third parties, including: safari vehicles or permits, transfers, taxis, guides, boating, nature activities and/or other external experiences.
Where a service is provided by an independent third party, that service may be subject to the provider's own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for acts or omissions of independent third-party providers merely because we assisted with an introduction or reservation, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or where the service is legally treated as one supplied by us.
Guests should review applicable third-party terms before purchasing or using such services.
17. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing an obligation where performance is prevented by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.
Such circumstances may include:
Natural disasters
Severe weather
Flood, fire or other environmental events
Forest fire
Epidemic, pandemic or public-health restrictions
Closure of roads or transport routes
Power or communications failure outside our reasonable control
Civil disturbance
Strikes or industrial action outside our organisation
Acts of government or public authorities
Changes in laws or regulatory requirements
Closure or restriction of the tiger reserve, forest zones or tourism facilities
Security incidents or
Similar events beyond our reasonable control.
Where such an event materially affects a reservation, we will communicate with the guest and may offer, depending on the circumstances:
Alternative dates
A credit or rescheduling arrangement
An alternative service, or
A refund for accommodation or services we are unable to provide.
Amounts already committed to independent third-party providers may remain subject to the relevant provider's refund rules.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
18. Guest Conduct
Guests must behave in a manner that respects other guests, staff, local communities, wildlife, the property and applicable law.
We may take reasonable action, including requiring a guest to leave the property, where the guest presents a material safety risk, behaves violently, abusively or threateningly, intentionally interferes with wildlife, seriously disturbs other guests, deliberately damages property, engages in unlawful conduct, refuses to comply with material safety instructions and/or materially breaches these Terms.
Where a stay is terminated because of serious misconduct by the guest, any refund will depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
19. Damage to Property
Guests will be responsible for reasonable costs arising from loss of or damage to tigress@ghosri property caused intentionally, recklessly or negligently by the guest or a person for whom the guest is responsible.
Normal wear and tear is excluded.
We will seek to provide reasonable details of any material damage charge.

However:
Photographs are illustrative
Vegetation, water levels and natural surroundings change seasonally
Room furnishings or amenities may be repaired, replaced or modified
Wildlife conditions are inherently variable
Government safari rules and prices may change and
Occasional errors or outdated information may occur.
If a material website error affects a reservation, we will take reasonable steps to correct it and deal fairly with the affected booking. An obvious typographical or pricing error does not automatically require us to provide a service at the erroneous price where the error should reasonably have been apparent.

You must not:
Interfere with website security or operation
Introduce malware or malicious code
Attempt unauthorised access to systems or information

23. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to government websites, safari-booking systems, payment services, maps, social platforms or other third-party resources. A link does not mean that we control or accept responsibility for the linked service.
Third-party websites are governed by their own terms, privacy policies and practices.
24. Privacy
Personal information supplied to us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
By making a reservation on behalf of another person, you acknowledge that their information may need to be supplied to us for the reservation and stay.
25. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Subject to that principle:
We are responsible for services we agree to provide, subject to these Terms
We are not responsible for loss caused solely by the guest's own acts or omissions
We are not responsible for independent third-party services except where applicable law provides otherwise
We do not guarantee wildlife sightings, weather, forest access or safari availability
We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control except to the extent applicable law provides otherwise and
Guests remain responsible for taking reasonable care of their belongings.
Any exclusion or limitation in these Terms applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms restricts statutory consumer rights.
26. Indemnity for Unlawful or Wrongful Conduct
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for third-party claims, losses or reasonable costs directly resulting from:
Your unlawful conduct
Your intentional or reckless damage to property
Your material breach of these Terms and/or
Your infringement of another person's rights.
This provision does not require a consumer to indemnify us for our own negligence, breach of law or conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

Use of our internal grievance process does not prevent a consumer from exercising any right available under applicable law.
28. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and reservations with tigress@ghosri are governed by the laws of India.
The parties should first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute directly.
Subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction available to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other applicable law, courts having jurisdiction in Maharashtra may exercise jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from these Terms or our services.
Nothing in this clause requires a consumer to give up a forum or remedy that is mandatorily available under applicable consumer law.
29. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
30. No Waiver
A delay or failure by us to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or of our right to enforce it later.
31. Entire Agreement
For a reservation, these Terms, the booking confirmation and any additional written conditions expressly agreed between us constitute the terms applicable to that booking.
If a specific written term in a booking confirmation conflicts with these general Terms, the specific booking term will apply to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
32. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The version published on our website will govern use of the website from its effective date.
A later change to these general Terms will not retrospectively alter a material commercial term of an already confirmed booking unless:
The guest agrees
The change is required by law and/or
The booking itself is validly amended.
