The story of the Tigress at Ghosri
Sounds of tiny paws on the dry teak leaves near the verandah of the villa at sunset.... 4 pairs of tiger eyes in the bush close to where we stood.... the tigress has been visiting our back yard since she was a cub and had now come with her three young cubs to the Tiger taka , the water saucer on the property. She is the Tigress of Ghosri and this parcel of land named after her could not be anything but tigress@ghosri. The cubs, now adults, come to the Tiger taka as the mother does, through the sweltering summer, the wet monsoons and the crisp winters.
